Offshoring & Outsourcing Philippines: Roadmap 2010 is the first report published by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), the umbrella organization of over 100 industry players and 100 vendors in the country. The report examines the state of the offshoring and outsourcing industry, globally and in the Philippines, and looks closely at the factors that contribute to its growth (and those that indeed may eventually inhibit it). An examination of these factors persuades the organization that the Philippines can continue its high level of performance in this industry.

In this book, BPAP recommends that the Philippines sets the goal of achieving 10 percent global market share by 2010. This is an aspirational target that will require major effort. In Offshoring and Outsourcing Philippines, the BPAP Roadmap team, which included major stakeholders and McKinsey & Company analysts, describe a portfolio of initiatives that the industry is prepared to take to achieve this goal. This is the Philippines' road map to 2010.
